Firm History

The Piper family have long cemented ties in the Tweed with Frank’s late father Lawrence Piper also practicing law in the Tweed since 1956.

The practice originally took instructions in general law matters but predominantly practiced in the areas of Conveyancing, Business law and Wills and Estate matters.

In 1995 Kerrie Craig joined the practice and the firm commenced providing services in Family law and Defacto property matters. The family law department of the firm soon expanded and Belinda Henry joined the firm in 2002.

In July 2005 Kerrie Craig and Belinda Henry were appointed as partners to the firm and the practice became known as “Piper Craig Henry Lawyers” with the firm relocating to its new premises at 29 Bay Street in Tweed Heads.

The legal services offered at Piper Craig Henry lawyers remain focused in the areas of Conveyancing, Business law matters, Wills and Estate matters, Defacto property Law matters and Family law.

The firm’s philosophy since it was established has been for each lawyer in the firm to deal exclusively in specific areas of law to ensure that its clients receive the best knowledge, experience and resources from the firm in their legal matter.
